They are made of different boxes where you can organize playthings by category and store them inside or you can use some baskets. You can also add a tag on each basket with a pic of the content, like so your little one will be able to find and tidy his toys easily.
I think this kind of furniture is perfect. It’s nice, useful, don’t take a lot of space and allows you to store a lot of toys. The good idea is also to put it horizontally, as much as storage, you will have a little bench at the height of your kid.

To store biggest stuffed animals or toys, choose some big baskets, in fabric or natural fibers like wicker. You could find some in every home decor store and they are perfect for a kid’s room. Your baby will be able to take his playthings alone in the basket. He could easily open it, without risking of hurting himself. It’s also perfect in the living room to quickly tidy toys who lie around.
3/ The wall bookshelf
Simply fix one or several shelves on the wall and arrange his favorites books. As well as being useful and allow you to gain some space, this is a very nice decor idea.
But be careful, don’t fix the shelf too high like on these pics above, otherwise your kid couldn’t catch his books alone and risks to do the acrobat to get them.
4/ The hanging basket
Very useful especially if the room is pretty small, this kind of storage allows you to store small toys or stuffed aminals. By hanging them on the wall or on the door, you also gain some space on the floor.
